Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born 13 December 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a singer/songwriter from the pop/country genre for the past 20 years. Swift's stories of romance and love at first sight have gained her widespread popularity throughout the 21st century. Swift was interested in music since a young age. Swift quickly rose up the ranks, beginning by playing roles in the theater for children and then performing in front of a large crowd. Swift was just 11 when she first performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match. In the following year she started writing her own songs and picked up the guitar. Swift took inspiration from artists from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and now the Chicks to create original material which reflected the alienation she experienced at the age of 13. Swift left Pennsylvania together with her parents, in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she turned 13 to devote more time to contacting label representatives from the country genre.
